Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates should have an M.Sc. in Agricultural Physics, Agricultural Meteorology, or Agricultural Science from an accredited institution or institute to be considered for the position of Scientist/Engineer in the Agriculture Department.
- Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in Physics, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, or Oceanography to be considered for admission to the Department of Atmospheric Science and Oceanography.
- A computer science engineering degree with a focus on image processing/artificial intelligence or machine learning/computer vision is required for admission to the Computer Science Engineering program.
Age Criteria:
- For SC-certified scientists and engineers in the fields of agriculture atmospheric sciences and oceanography, the age range is 18 to 28 years.
- 18 to 30 years old for Scientist/Engineer-SC (Computer Science Engineering)

- INR 200 For SC/ST/PWD
- INR 500 For GEN/SEBC
Salary:
The positions have a Level 10 salary scale (₹56,100–₹1,77,500).
