The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test official website now has the online application forms activated. On May 15, 2024, candidates can submit their completed application forms for the UGC NET JRF 2024 exam. The official notification on the extension of the deadline for submitting the online application for UGC-NET by June 2024 has been announced by the National Testing Agency. Application Fee info.:

• For General Candidates: Rs. 1100/-
• For EWS/OBC-NCL Candidates: Rs. 600/-
• For ST/SC/PWD Candidates: Rs. 375/-

Educational Qualifications info.:

Candidates must have finished their postgraduate studies in relevant fields at a college or university with UGC recognition. A 55% aggregate is required for General Category applicants, and a 50% aggregate is required for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.

Age Limit:

For JRF

• Maximum Age: 31 Years.

For Asst Professor

• Maximum Age: No Age Limit.

Pay Scale:

The NTA UGC NET job regulations will determine salaries for AP and other teaching roles, while JRFs will be paid INR 35,000 PM.

Selection Method:

The candidates’ scores in the UGC NET 2024 exam will determine who gets to be selected for the assistant professor and junior research fellowship positions. The cutoff marks and exam rank will be used to determine which candidates are chosen. To determine who is eligible for assistant professor and JRF, the top 6% of candidates will be shortlisted. Candidates who have been selected for NET JRF will be placed on a separate merit list.
